The First Step Resources Guide is about getting your business builders into action RIGHT AWAY- doing the income producing activities that result in success in Shaklee, with clear directions on what to say and how to say it:

  • Inviting others to hear about Shaklee
  • Calendaring events to share Shaklee
  • Presenting Shaklee-the whole picture-the company, the products and the opportunity
  • Sponsoring others into Shaklee and teaching them how to duplicate themselves

The First Step Resource Guide reinforces the support provided by the sponsor/Business Leader, and gives new business builders the knowledge and skills to get their business off the ground and growing successfully.

The First Step Resource Guide is available now online in the MyShaklee.com Library and in an effort to make it easy for people to use, each chapter of the Guide is also available to download separately (in the Library).

Also available to download is a companion piece called The Shaklee Dream Plan: How It Works. This is a guide that will help you learn how to explain the Dream Plan to a new person – as well as how to earn the rewards and compensation available in the Shaklee Dream Plan.

Anne Siloy and her husband Doug weren't serious about building their Shaklee business until they were inspired by then new Chairman and CEO Roger Barnett to rediscover just how powerful the Shaklee Opportunity was. Since October 2010, Anne and Doug have broken out their first Dream Plan Director and have increased their volume to earn the rank of Senior Coordinator. Check out their story!

When Roger chose Shaklee, he recognized its value as a business and helped all of us to rediscover that gift for ourselves. Since then, I have learned to feel as comfortable sharing the business with people as I have been sharing the products.

In Anaheim, as the incredible Dream Plan was introduced I found myself sitting in the audience becoming overwhelmed with emotion and I know this may sound kind of funny to some people, but as I sat in my seat with tears in my eyes something told me, “This is it.  This is your time.”

So with the mindset to open myself to learn what WAS working so well for others, I began to listen and learn. I took a little from here and a little from there and began to create a Plan of Action for my business and for my Shaklee team. 

Thanks to the Dream Plan and the inspiration we received at the last conference, we plan to complete our qualification for Atlantis this month and in doing so we will have earned our first incentive trip since attending Shaklee’s New Directors Conference 15 years ago. 

That same feeling and emotion I experienced at the last conference can be instantly recalled, but it is now accompanied by a new joy because we have actually just begun to experience the growth and success for our Shaklee business that I have so strongly desired for so many years.

Are you getting the most out of Team Up? With a little over six weeks left to go and some great incentives at stake -- including the Dream 2011 Incentive Trip to Atlantis, The Top Achievers Club International Getaway to the Four Seasons Resort in Bora Bora and on stage recognition at the 2011 Global Conference in Washington D.C. -- we asked Becky Cash, member of the top point earning team in the 3rd Quarter Team Up to share her tips for Team Up success!

  1. Decide what your team wants to get out of Team Up. Is your goal to earn the big prize, to have people on your team increase rank or perhaps your goal is simply to motivate one another to re-energize your businesses? Make sure you know what your personal goal is, as well as your team’s.
  1. Set a weekly time to talk as a team. One of our teams started the first quarter Team Up simply wanting to get into action. Through weekly calls, each person went on to a new level of activity in their business. During the third quarter, we started to see rank increases, volumes double and triple and one team member even started a new team with her organization. Weekly calls with a driven goal are important.
  1. Decide what you personally want. Individuals qualify for prizes in multiple categories. Do you want to earn a 75 point prize, 150 point prize or another category? I encourage you to set a stretch goal. It is hard to rise to a goal not set.

  2. Believe in yourself. In the first quarter, some members almost did not join out of fear THEY would be the weak link. When they realized that everyone was feeling the same pressure, they let their guard down and really learned from each other.

Don’t worry if you have already started and haven’t done some of these things. It’s never too late to refocus, establish a new plan and get to work!

Memorial Day Holiday Hours

The Order Entry Call Center, Field Support and Pleasanton Corporate offices will be closed on Monday, May 30 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Please plan your orders accordingly.

Order Entry will be open on Saturday, May 28 for normal business hours. Groveport will be open on Monday, May 30, though that is a UPS holiday, so local and long local ground shipments will not leave Groveport until Tuesday, May 31. Groveport will ship a line haul truck to the west coast on Monday to ensure that orders are delivered before the next weekend.

New Directors Conference at Shaklee World Headquarters. A new Director in the Dream Plan can qualify for the New Directors Conference by earning a total of 18,000 CV in any six-consecutive month period within your first 12 months as a Director (month of promotion plus eleven months).  The entire qualification must be completed by the end of the 12th month.  The Business Leader must be fully qualified during each month of the six-month qualification period and in the month of the conference.  The six-month qualification period must be completed no later than two months prior to the month of the conference. You are considered “new” as long as you have not held a Business Leader title for more than 2 months during July 2005 - June 2010.
